Eagle Rock

Hiking to the top of Eagle Rock is another low effort high reward hike for incredible views of Lake Tahoe.

Located on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, just off of Highway 89, this hike is family friendly and less than a mile long. There are a number of different routes to the top each wandering through wooded area. Near the top, there is a little bit of rock scrambling and our boys loved that added challenge.

There are 12-15 parking spots at the trail head so parking is usually available depending on the time of day. This is a well known spot for watching the sun rise, but we haven't made it out there that early since having kids :)
